Phoenix Down is one of the Materials in Death's Gambit. Items can be acquired through out the game and they generally provide bonuses to various Stats or can be used to provide various benefits, or even open doors.
The soft down feather of the Phoenix. It glows brightly, exuding a gently warmth.

Phoenix Down Notes & Tips
- Used to revive Sigur's brother in a ritual. First you need to buy the Corpse Shield from Fink in Gaian's Cradle, and use it in front of her to trigger the quest.
- Item is bugged as of Patch 1.07 on Playstation 4. Can be dropped even though the game will tell you the item can not be dropped. The item will not be left on the ground as when dropping consumables or weapons, but will instead be permanently deleted from your inventory. Unknown if able to be reacquired in subsequent NG+ runs.

I'm playing the PC version in 2019 and I encountered the bug. Accidentally dropped the feather thinking i could at least pick it back up, but I got the "This item cannot be dropped" message then it disappeared from my inventory.

To use this item - YOU HAVE TO UNEQUIP ANY HEALING FEATHER - basically your healing item have to be empty and then you have to talk with Sigur to finish this quest. If you will have healing item equiped, then she will still talking about "Pluck the feather from the beast..."

sorry for my bad english :) i have the 3 keys to siorai, the corpse schild from fink and sigur is in my game gone in sanctuary. i can't as in sanctuary before sigur block with the shield :( can i the quest somehow start differently? thanks for helping out (my game version is 1.0.0 for pc from GOG)

And how I can return it to Sigur? She keeps telling me, what I need this feather, but she didn't take it from me and phoenix in Caer Siorai don't take any damage and in tutorial flyes away at 75% hp...
Quest reward for giving this to Sigur is a Zealot's Cape +3.
If you want her Seed Of Knowledge, make sure you buy it BEFORE you get the Pheonix Down. There's no way to talk to her properly when you do.
