How to get to Vados

Vados is one of the new locations released in the Death's Gambit Afterlife Expansion. Vados is one of the key locations when reaching the Endings of the game. This location is the setting of one of the few unlockable Endings in Death's Gambit Afterlife. It is accessible after the defeat of the Avatar of Thalamus. In order to reach the area, during your fight, you will be taken back to the title sequence and prompted to choose a difficulty again. Wait a few seconds without selecting an option and a dialogue will begin and Sorun will wake up. This will then take you to Vados being invaded. 

 

Vados Ending

Vados is featured in a few Endings. One ending is prompedvwhen you speak to Vrael for the first time, and while the intended path is to meet Death at the right side of the screen, you have the option to go left and will be prompted with a dialogue asking if you are sure you want to leave Siradon and return to Vados. Choosing yes will lead yo back into Vados where Sorun is sentenced to death by the king. This ending will lead Sorun back to the starting point. 

 

 

Vados Ending A

Ending A is the first intended ending of Death's Gambit Afterlife. The events that lead up to this are supposedly completed where players have already defeated five heroic Bosses, gone through Caer Siorai to defeat the Endless and trigger more cutscenes and dialogues. Side with Death when prompted at the Afterlife and return to Caer Siorai. Head back to Garde Tum and head west towards the locked door. Follow the AI to get through to the Chamber of Migration, get through the Aberrant AI. You will receive a soul shard from Death. Head back to the undergeand area of Caer Siora at the Endless fight scene, then interact with the bodies of Vrael and Ione. Then head back and Soul Dive into Everly's body. 

You will be prompted with a memory dialogue needed to regain Sorun's memory. Choose the answers below when prompted.

• My name is Sorun.
• The Kingdom of Siradon holds the Source of Immortality.
• Vrael initially didn't believe in me but grew to trust my abilities.
• Death wants to eradicate immoratlity.
• Ash was taken from our family by the Magisters of Vados.
• My mother is Everly.
• Ione joined Endless as a spy in order to destroy the source of immortality.
• Thalamus has our souls all trapped in a looping nightmare.
• Amulvaro warned me of great cosmic forces beyond my control.
• Ash was arrested for killing his own father. 

 This will take Sorun into the Collapsing Nightmare. There will be a Death Idol far right. Save at this point until you reach a girl, then interact with her. You will reach another point where you will be prompted with dialogue to regain your memory. 

• The first king of Siradon is Sirad.
• Bulwark gave me the double jump upgrade.
• My contract with Death is complete once the source is destroyed.
• Bysurge takes double damage when we are opposite polarities.

Vados will be accessible again after the defeat of the Avatar of Thalamus. In order to reach the area, during your fight, you will be taken back to the title sequence and prompted to choose a difficulty again. Wait a few seconds without selecting an option and a dialogue will begin and Sorun will wake up. This will then take you to Vados being invaded. During this last battle, you will be rejoined by your friends, Ione, Vrael and Everly.
