Grey Wanderer

Grey Wanderer is the optional Boss of the Magister's Labyrinth. Defeating her awards Sorun with the ability to invest talents in the Advanced Talent tree.

Sibyl earned her place among the Magisters of Mistra as a powerful prophetess. With her guidance, they devised the Great Expedition, profiting in influence and coin enough to become an independent nation.

Sibyl came to be recognized as the Grey, an elusive symbol of light. However, with her foresight came the knowledge of the tragedies to come. Not even she could predict her own fall to darkness.

Attacks

  • Burn. The Grey Wanderer teleports above the central flower, throwing a beam of fire onto the ground that begins to spread across the arena floor. Fireballs begin to rise up from the floor at locations signified by red beams of energy. The Grey Wanderer always opens the fight with this attack.
  • Magister Vortex. The Grey Wanderer teleports into the center of the room, creating a vortex of energy in her hand that begins to pull Sorun in, before exploding. After a moment, white projectiles come out of it omnidirectionally, forming a ring that begins to rotate before shrinking back into the center of her hand, then exploding out once again.
  • Clones. The Grey Wanderer creates three clones of herself, and stays stationary for a moment. Any clones that are not destroyed while she remains stationary will begin to fly above the top of the arena, trailing damaging purple energy below them.
  • Energy Burst. The Grey Wanderer begins to shoot out a spray of projectiles, while rotating towards Sorun.
  • Energy Burst Orb. The Grey Wanderer creates two orbs that travel towards Sorun, before sending out a spray of projectiles towards him.
  • Enhanced Clone. In her second phase, the Grey Wanderer creates a clone of herself that performs her other attacks.

Heroic Attacks

  • Heroic Enhanced Clone. The Black Wanderer creates a clone of herself that performs her other attacks upon starting the battle.
  • Amulvaro. The Black Wanderer summons a version of Amulvaro with his non-heroic moveset.
    • Infinity Dash.  Amulvaro raises his blade, before dashing towards Sorun and exiting through a portal. He dashes towards Sorun three times.
    • Infinity Slash.  Amulvaro appears, then slashes with his blade, additionally creating three damaging wave projectiles.
    • Infinity Flurry. Amulvaro takes out his blade and a darkened version of it. He slashes towards Sorun twice, before dashing over to the opposite side of Sorun. He repeats this three times.
    • Starfire Orbs. Amulvaro rears himself backwards and vibrates. This creates four blue orbs, with yellow gauges under them and two sets of smaller white orbs circling them. If the gauges deplete fully, they create lines of damaging starfire in the direction that the white orbs were facing, with only a small gap that can be passed through.

Strategy

  • The Heroic Enhanced Clone and Amulvaro should be a high priority target, as they are the only real source of damage in the Heroic fight. The fight is standard aside from that.

Bro, the heroic fight was going smooth until I saw Amulvaro and ****ing jumped.
Still not too bad since he's my fav boss and I have his moveset memorized, but seeing him pop outta nowhere in the middle of the fight nearly gave me a heart attack.
