Forgotten Gaian

The Forgotten Gaian is a Boss located within Rider's Passage. Upon defeat, it awards Sorun with the Crash Down ability.

A child of Gaia, enslaved as the first and final defense for Siradon. Most have been dormant for generations, subjected to excavations and autopsies by those with resources.

It was common practice to pierce weapons and stakes into the Gaian's vitals as a preventative measure should they one day wake.

Forgotten Gaian Tomes

First Tome

• Location: Can be purchased from Jaco of Basilus at Central Sanctuary for 500 Shards

Second Tome

• Location: Top right of the room above Owlking's Arena. Climb the ladder by the fire breathing statue and jump across the platforms.

Forgotten Gaian

 Attacks

• Armor. Until the Forgotten Gaian takes enough damage to fall to one knee, he has 90% damage reduction from all attacks.
• Slash. When Sorun is at a distance from the Forgotten Gaian, he brings his sword up and slashes it down. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot.
• Lunge. When Sorun is at a distance from the Forgotten Gaian, he brings his sword closer to the ground and stabs it forward. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot.
• Stab. When Sorun is close to the Forgotten Gaian, he stabs the sword vertically down into the ground. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot. On low health, he stabs three times instead of one.
• Kick. When Sorun is close to the Forgotten Gaian, he kicks with his foot. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot.
• Stomp. When Sorun is close to the Forgotten Gaian, he stomps with his foot two times, once further from him and once closer to him. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot.
• Slap. Once his foot has been sufficiently damaged, the Gaian falls to one knee. His knee can be attacked, and has no damage reduction and is vulnerable to all forms of damage. He will charge up a slapping attack towards Sorun, flinging him backwards if it connects. The Gaian will perform this attack two times before standing up.
• Ione. Once the Gaian's foot has been sufficiently damaged, Ione will begin to attack Sorun, descending with Skycrash. When she is sufficiently damaged, she will return to his back. Ione uses some of her Heroic moveset in this fight.
  • Lunge. Ione lunges towards Sorun, slashes up, then slashes down.
  • Heroic Cyclone. Ione spins her spear around, attacking two times while dashing towards Sorun. She will sometimes follow this up with another slash.
  • Heroic Flurry. Ione tenses for a moment, before lunging towards Sorun with a damaging stab. She then slashes down, then up, then down.
  • Skycrash. Ione leaps up into the air, and descends down on Sorun.  The location where she lands is marked by a glowing yellow aura that follows Sorun.

 Heroic Attacks

•  Heroic Reinforcements. The Forgotten Gaian will summon reinforcements every thirty seconds, coming in a repeating pattern.
  • Moss Knight x1. Fire Archers x2.
  • Magister x2.
• Heroic Jump. The Forgotten Gaian jumps up, sending a shockwave from where he falls.
• Heroic Slash. When Sorun is at a distance from The Forgotten Gaian, he brings his sword up and very quickly slashes it down. Being struck by this attack flings Sorun backwards. This attack can be blocked, but the fling effect cannot.
