Feather Upgrade Locations
For each Feather Upgrade you find, you'll be able to carry an additional plume with you, allowing you additional healing on your journey. You'll find the Feather Upgrades in the following locations:
Feather Upgrade 01
Gaian's Cradle - This Feather Upgrade is located by the Death Idol found just after running up the hill being firebombed by the Phoenix and defeating the Knight at the top.
Feather Upgrade 02
Central Sanctuary - This Feather Upgrade can be purchased from Sigard for 300 Shards.
Feather Upgrade 03
Obsidian Vale - From the prisoner cages in the lower, left hand side of the Obsidian Vale area, climb the ladders to the very top. At the top, run and jump over to the left hand platform, and continue to the left past the spike trap to reach the Feather Upgrade.
Feather Upgrade 04
Aldwynn - As you proceed through the Aldwynn area, make your way into the second building that you can explore. Head down into the darkness in the lower right corner of the room to find the Church Basement Key. Continue through the area until you reach the church. Drop down the first gap here and use the key to open the door. Drop down behind this to find a Feather Upgrade.
Feather Upgrade 05
Aldwynn - After defeating the Boss: Origa, head down to the area beneath her location. Proceed to the right. Climb down the first ladder you come across and defeat the group of four Slimes in the dark here. Look in the shadows in the far, right corner of the lower area to find a Feather Upgrade.
Feather Upgrade 06
Amulvaro's Observatory - Make your into the tower and proceed to the central room. Climb the ladder on the left side up to the platform above. Make your way to the left to find an Owlking and several Power Crystal enemies. Dispatch them all and then go to the left to find another ladder. Climb the ladder here and loot the 1x Abyssal Eye at the top. Climb the next ladder and kill the two groups of Power Crystals here. Jump across the ledges to the left to find a Feather Upgrade.
Feather Upgrade 07
Caer Siorai - After defeating the Boss: Soul of the Phoenix (Heroic), climb the ladder that appears on the left side of the room. At the top enter the door on the left to find a Feather Upgrade.
Feather Upgrade 08
Gaian's Cradle - Inside Gaian's Cradle, you'll find five pedestals, each of which requires a Gaian Relic to activate. Once activated you'll recieve 5x Immortalite Stone and a Feather Upgrade. These Gaian Relics can be found in the following locations:
Gaian Relic 1 - After defeating Boss: Dark Knight, the elevator on the right side of the room will activate, creating a shortcut back up to the Central Sanctuary. Ride this up and swing your sword at the right hand wall a few times just before reaching the top to reveal a hidden cave. Enter this area and grab the item inside for Gaian Relic 1
Gaian Relic 2 - This can be found in Garde Tum by finding and activating four red switches. Follow the walkthrough here: Garde Tum to find them and Gaian Relic 2.
Gaian Relic 3 - This is located in Amulvaro's Observatory. From the Death Idol at the top of the tower, jump over the ladder and head all the way to the left. Drop down to the balcony area below to find 1x Leaf of Gaia. Locate the ladder to the right of the platform that leads back up to the floor above and note the blank wall beneath it. Hit this wall with an attack to reveal a hidden room behind it. Inside is an item containing Gaian Relic 3.
Gaian Relic 4 - This is located near the very end of the Caer Siorai area. Just before you climb to the very top floor (where you need to fight your friends) note the platforms we can climb to the ledge above. Before doing so, run past these platforms to the left and drop off the edge of the platform. We’ll land on another below with 1x Gaian Blood on it. From this platform, drop down to the left again to find a Water Mage. Kill this and loot the item it was guarding for Gaian Relic 4.
Gaian Relic 5 - This is rewarded for defeating the Forgotten Gaian boss in Heroic mode.
