Dragon Knight Shield is a Shield in Death's Gambit: Afterlife. Shields are a special type of Weapon as they are purely used for blocking incoming damage, and are equipped onto their own additional slot. The protagonist may equip up to 2 weapons and 1 shield at any time, and may alternate between them accordingly during battle. A golden shield that resembles the face of a dragon. Its engravings are archaic, the symbolic language of Vil’dradur where the dragonkin hail from. A rough translation reads 'Behind our face, the strength of a thousand'. Only a few of these shields must exist, and with it, the sentiments of their entire tribe.

- Originally known as the Drake Knight Shield.
- Despite this shield's incredibly low drop rate, it is one of the best ones in the game, due to it's highest toughness rating.

To save most people the time to grind for this shield you can actually find it as a static item in the platforms above Caer Siorai's Entrance where you can also get a Phoenix tome, when you reach the balcony where you fight some magisters and a valkyrie, drop down the left side and dash right to reach the plaforms along the wall, there will be three platforms, the first one has the shield.
